In 2009 alone, T-Town PAWS rescued, cared for, and spayed or neutered nearly 700 unwanted animals from our community's shelter - animals who otherwise faced euthanasia for lack or space or time at the shelter. Your donations are greatly needed.

Dear Lynnr,

T-Town PAWS gratefully thanks our community paw'tners -volunteers, donors, sponsors, and event hosts including MIDTOWN VILLAGE and WALGREENS Five Points - all of whom make a tremendous difference in our offering an array of services to the community.  Our paw'tners especially help support our pet rescue work as we care for and place hundreds of dogs and cats in adoptive homes this year - and allow us to serve even more animals!

We hope readers will share this news sheet with their friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.  Together, we can find homes for all our homeless pets!

Sincerely,
T-Town PAWS

About T-Town PAWS

A 501(c)3 organization founded in 1997, T-Town PAWS is Tuscaloosa's Animal Welfare Organization.  PAWS leads regional spay/neuter, humane education, and animal rescue efforts.  Last year alone, T-Town PAWS rescued, cared for, and spayed or neutered nearly 700 unwanted animals from our community's shelter - animals who otherwise faced euthanasia - and we ultimately adopted them to loving homes through our adoption facility and the Pet Supplies Plus adoption room. These pets provide our Tuscaloosa neighbors with comfort, security, and emotional support.

To support our local animal welfare efforts, T-Town PAWS offers a number of paw'tnership opportunities for businesses and organizations; foster parenting; and volunteer opportunities including dog walking/socialization, adoption event and fundraising event positions, and occasional office work.

We invite the community to visit our adoption facility at 1108 38th Street, Tuscaloosa, 35401.  We're open Monday - Friday from 11-6 and Saturdays 11-3, see us most weekends at the Adoption Room in Pet Supplies Plus, or see our adoptable pets on the web at

Murphy

"Hey!Murphy - Adopted from T-Town PAWS!
Just wanted to let you know how happy Murphy is! He loves being home and he's had so much fun playing all day! As you can see, he's pretty attached to his toy from ttown paws still! He has been such a good boy, love his bath, loves riding in the cars, and loves walking in the park by home. The only problem we've had is barking when he's scared like at the vet, etc. He's learning so fast though! He already has almost mastered not pulling on his leash; I walk him instead of him walking me! He's such a sweet boy, thanks for such a great dog! We'll spoil him rotten and bring him to visit some time if y'all get to missing him!"
